The Castle is still lived in by the descendents of the 3rd Earl of Carlisle, for whom it was built & Tracy enjoyed a good relationship with The Hon Simon Howard and his family. Tracy’s role in supporting the day to day management of the staff & estate, was diverse & hugely challenging. She was also very involved with the Castle Howard Arboretum Trust of which Prince Charles was Patron.
