Bryan Thomson

Bryan has achieved an impressive track record of success during almost 20 years’ in the real estate industry working in positions throughout New Zealand ranging from sales consultant to senior management. With Harcourts since 1998 and a shareholder since 2002 Bryan was CEO of Harcourts New Zealand for eight years being appointed in April 2010 to the new role of Head of Real Estate Operations for Harcourts Australasia. An experienced director, and former award-winning auctioneer he brings extensive real estate industry knowledge and experience, a wide range of skills and a considerable network of contacts to his new role, and is relishing the opportunity of helping to drive the growth and performance of Harcourts throughout the region.

Chris Brearley AREINZ

Chris’s career in real estate began when he joined Barfoot & Thompson as a Sales Consultant and had great success during his time selling real estate, then becoming part of the regional team at RE/MAX as Franchise Sales Manager. After 3 years with RE/MAX Chris became the Auckland/Northland Sales and Account Manager for RPNZ and after almost 4 years with RPNZ was very excited to be offered the role of Franchise Development Manager at Harcourts. Chris has observed that Harcourts is an innovative, professional very people-orientated company that is moving at a steady pace towards exceptional growth and says he feels very fortunate to be part of Harcourts’ future development plan.

Emma joined Harcourts New Zealand in 2004 after working in a range of Marketing, Event and Sponsorship in the UK, Australian and New Zealand. Emma is responsible for the Group’s National Events Calendar, Sponsorship, Suppliers and Relationship Management. Emma is driven to deliver the best events for her delegates and provide the very highest levels of client service to our Business Partners. As CEO of Harcourts New Zealand, Hayden is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the Harcourts New Zealand group. Hayden has an impressive track record of success, including a number of years in senior roles within Turners before he joined the real estate industry. Starting out in the industry as a commercial/industrial sales consultant, Hayden has gained considerable knowledge and experience as he has progressed, becoming a real estate auctioneer, trainer, general manager/franchise owner and national auction manager/chief auctioneer before being appointed CEO of Harcourts New Zealand in June 2010. Now responsible for the leadership of New Zealand’s largest real estate group, Hayden is a youthful and energetic real estate professional with exceptional communication and presentation skills, a passion for people and the real estate industry, a considerable network and an established national profile. A rising star in the industry, who as an auctioneer has been involved in more than $4.5 billion worth of real estate transactions, Hayden works alongside Chief Operations Officer Jo Clifford and together with her manages the Harcourts New Zealand corporate team.

Jo-Anne Clifford

Jo-Anne has over 20 years experience in franchise development, strategic business planning, systems, training and technology, and as Northern Regional Manager played a key role in past growth of offices and market share in Auckland. Jo-Anne was also responsible for the growth and development of residential property management, and is a vital member of Harcourts' strategic planning and development group.

New to the real estate industry, Laura began her career in television over 12 years ago. From Video Editor to TV Producer Laura has worked at every level of television. With a new focus in mind, Laura diversified and extended her talents in television to the broader media industry, and into Communications. Laura has owned a TV Production House and Company Communications business for over 10 years assisting businesses small and large to strategise and grow their communication and media plans. Laura has worked with companies such as Downer, Fonterra, NZ Warriors, Vodafone, Maori Television, TVNZ, Sanitarium, and Fletcher Construction, to name a few. Laura’s role manages media relationships, newsletters and publications, press communication and support our franchises with media comment as well as continuing the good work already started in developing Harcourts media presence.

Robert Tulp has been a successful real estate agent over the past 20 years and a top Auctioneer in both Australia and New Zealand. He is a recipient of the REIWA Grand Master Salesman – their highest honour and been the top agent in Western Australia for their biggest group – First National. More recently he has been a Business Owner, Manager and now award winning Auctioneer. In 2010 he won the Harcourts NZ Auctioneer title; was a runner up at the National Institute Auction Competition and a finalist in the Australasian Auction champs. Early this year he won the Inaugural ‘Bledisloe’ Auction Cup as the top Harcourts Auctioneer in Australasia. Robert has been working for Franchise group Cooper and Co on Auckland’s North Shore for the past few years as an Auctioneer, Manager and Trainer and has now taken the step into the Corporate arena by taking on the National Auction Manager’s role.

Sharon Morey

Sharon Morey joined the Harcourts team as National Marketing Manager with a bang, with her first day being at the annual Harcourts Conference in Rotorua. Sharon is based in the Auckland Regional Office and brings with her seven years in Real Estate Marketing. After taking a year to expand her experience working in business development for a large kiwi owned engineering firm, she is very much looking forward to getting back into the world of real estate and is passionate about helping to build Harcourts brand presence within the New Zealand market. The major objectives of her new role include the facilitation in the growth of the Blue Book and NAI Harcourts publications, brand management, the implementation of Campaign Track throughout Harcourts’ offices, and assisting franchises and business owners in raising their profile within their local markets.

Pralene joined the Harcourts team as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Pralene has over 12 years experience in PA roles in both New Zealand and South Africa. New to the Real Estate Industry and after completing 6 years in the Foodservices Industry, she is looking to further develop her skills by providing the administrative support and focus required to both the CEO and COO of Harcourts New Zealand. Based at the Auckland Regional Office, Pralene is focused and passionate about ensuring that the Auckland Regional Office Administration team is operating smoothly and efficiently.
