Dominic has lived in the Wellington region since 1972. During this time he has met many wonderful people throughout his varied working life, which began as a motor mechanic. He moved into a long term role with the Department of Corrections spanning 15 years. Achievements there included being chairperson for the Pacific Island Network for Corrections and supervisor for the Porirua Community Guardian in conjunction with the Porirua Police Crime Prevention. He has owned and operated the Pacific Business award winning Fa’anoi’s Pharmacy Lotto and most recently was a successful salesperson at Enterprise Cars in Porirua. With three young children, Dominic’s life revolves around family, work and sports. He supports his children’s activities as often as possible. Dominic’s own sporting achievements are an impressive read: He was a member of the red “machine” Marist St Pats Senior A rugby team 1977-1980; and played rugby league for the Upper Hutt Tigers. He competed in Mr Wellington body building competitions in the late 1990s and was runner up twice, and is still a member of the NZ Pacific Island Body Building Team. John Morley

Peter "Stumpy" Sharpe
