Carol Johnson
Sales and MarketingIn 1988 Carol and her husband Greg came to visit Huntly and promptly decided this was where they would like to live away from the "rat race" and daily pressure of Auckland. It was still easier to commute back and forth to work than travelling from one Auckland suburb to another. Soon after three of their four young adult children came to the same conclusion and followed suit, buying their own homes in Huntly and Ohinewai. To strengthen the Johnson roots in Huntly there has since been four grandchildren born in Huntly. In 1997 Carol decided on a career change from Red Cross Family support caseworker and joined the Harcourts Team as a property salesperson. Although different in many ways it is still essentially helping people with one of the most important decisions in life, the buying and selling of their homes. The fact that Carol is a peoples' person established her with ease into her exciting new career. Carol likes a manageable database that can be cared for realistically with personal care and simplistic honest ethics while at the same time enjoying the thrills and challenges of real estate. Carols hobbies are music, dancing and fishing also being a long standing member of the Huntly Workingmens Club and Glen Afton Country Music Club. Her favourite sports are rugby as a mother of three rep players, and netball as a past player for many years and later coaching and supporting her daughter on court.
