    Daniel started his working career after graduating from Lynfield College, as an automotive mechanic working on high performance cars with a well known brand. After his 21st birthday, Daniel embarked off-shore on his big OE to UK. Like all young ex-pat Kiwi’s, he found employment with various establishments in the hospitality industry, an industry not uncommon to him and his twin brother and younger sibling, as his parents Managed a number of Hotels for the then Dominion Breweries Hotel Chain. This overseas sojourn lasted for almost 8 years and he became very expert in the art of mixing cocktails and a popular “DJ”in some of the leading clubs in London’s West End. Upon returning to NZ, Daniel and two other travel mates opened their own Tappas style wine bar in the popular Parnell Rise area called “B@1” developing a successful following, catering for all styles and ages with well mixed and well priced food and cocktails. After taking over the whole operation when his two partners decided to go their own way, Daniel continued on successfully building the business for a further 18 months and having received several offers to sell, decided the time was right to move on. Daniel spent a short stint with Vodafone NZ successfully selling the latest technology and plans with their mobile phones and network systems, picking up valuable experience in marketing and becoming quite relaxed with cold calling on prospective clients.
