Someone who will see that every potential buyer has the opportunity to inspect and offer on your property regardless of which salesperson or real estate company they are working with. Someone who understands and is empathetic to your circumstances and who you feel you can build a relationship with, based on trust and confidence to do the best job for you – to achieve for you the most amount of money for your home, based on the current market, in a reasonable time frame. Someone who will work with you as a team – who will do what they say they will do and supply you with frank and honest weekly written feedback reports that give you the full picture, not just the good news. I am that person and my promise to you is that if I believe the projected outcome or the transaction is not in your best interests, I will advise you not to proceed. I come to real estate with a Certificate in Architectural Draughting and a strong Sales and Marketing background. Branch ManagerI joined Harcourts in the North Island as sales person some fifteen years ago and after a two year stint in Harcourts Levin, my wife Belinda and our two children made the move to Christchurch. There I joined the award winning Harcourts Holmwood team in their Ilam office. During the next three years I worked as a sales person and studied for my Diploma in Real Estate, becoming an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute in the year 2000. Shortly after this I was appointed manager of the Harcourts Ilam Branch in Christchurch, and took up the option to purchase shares in the business. I was also appointed auction manager for the Harcourts Holmwood Group and these two positions I retained until resigning recently and moving to Kaiteriteri where we have just completed building our new home. During my tenure at Harcourts Ilam, we won several awards, the most satisfying being a national Harcourts award for “Best Client Service”. This annual award is judged by feedback from buyers and sellers throughout New Zealand and is regarded within Harcourts as a most prestigious award. Our goal is to repeat that success here in Motueka. I also served on The Harcourts NZ Franchise Council for two years and during this time we were involved in preparing submissions for the new Real Estate Act as well as formulating future policies and directions for Harcourts in New Zealand. Harcourts mission statement is “To retain clients for life through excellent service” and we subscribe to that totally. Our goal is to be part of each and everyone of your real estate transactions throughout the rest of your life.
