Andrea Heger

Andrea is delighted to be pursuing her long-held dream of a career in the real estate industry and having success with sales and awards in her first year only reinforced her belief in the 100% dedication and commitment this profession demands. Andreas past work history has been diverse and she believes each job has contributed to the skill required for a successful real estate career. To mention but a few; the hospitality industry as chef for local restaurants and caterers, retail management, office administration in her husband’s contracting business and voluntary work including, more recently with the SPCA. Her interests include all creatures’ great and small, cooking, reading, walking, the sea and riding her Triumph Bonneville T100. Andrea is passionate about Kerikeri , where she and her husband raised her three children, and the lifestyle it offers and of course the people. She is excited about the opportunity to work in a new dynamic team and is dedicated to working with honesty and integrity whilst matching people to homes in this very special part of the world.

Barbara Kirkman AREINZ

During fifteen years in real estate in the Kerikeri area, Barbara has enjoyed a successful career in sales. She achieved AREINZ status in 2005, and went on to run her own company. At the start of 2012 Barbara merged with another company to join the Harcourts group in Kerikeri. She is now enjoying a return to residential and lifestyle sales, working with the community and local area she loves.

Bill Easton

Bill Easton started Real Estate in 1986, and has worked in Kerikeri since then. He began work with Broadbent Real Estate, changing to Bay of Islands Realty in 1994 when Broadbent sold the company. He has been with the same company since then, working as a salesperson and in the last three years as 50% owner of the company. The company has been under the Professionals banner until February 2012, and has now changed to Harcourts. Bill has consistently been a top performer winning many awards, including Bay of Islands Salesperson of the Year on two occasions.

Australasia Executive Director 3 years. • Sold Business – moved to Brisbane end of 1991 – owned business for five years – sold and became PRD Project and Development manager at Toowong, Brisbane; Australian Real estate and Auctioneers Licensee. • NZ 2002 – Took over REAL in Kerikeri 2002 – developed business from three salesperson to one of the leading offices in Kerikeri. • Left and started CKP Realty in 2005 as a Harveys Franchisee. • Purchased Harveys Kaikohe – extended Rural business to area leader before rural downturn. Extensive rural listings. • Sold CKP Realty Ltd in September 2011 after Harveys franchise sold to Hookers in November 2012. • Main experience in Management, Rural sales, Conveyancing, and auctions (in excess of 800) with experience in Project and Development, Business sales, and Commercial sales and leasing. • Joined Harcourts Kerikeri heading the Rural / Lifestyle division.

Christine Thomas AREINZ

Christine Thomas is an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute and has worked in the Real Estate industry for the past 15 years, holding positions such as Branch Manager and Business and Commercial Specialist. Christine has sold millions of dollars worth of property, including top end trophy properties. Christine works out of the KeriKeri Office of NAI Harcourts for Bay of Islands Reality specialising in business and commercial sales and Luxury and Coastal properties . Christine has a background in television journalism and marketing and has extensive experience in marketing and sales and holds a Graduate's Diploma in Business Studies/ Real Estate.

Elaine Goodson

Elaine originally born in Gisborne, decided to holiday in the Bay of Islands with her husband, and son. They fell in love with the area and its people, and made an immediate life style change decision to make it their home. That was 11 years ago and they have never regretted that decision. Elaine is excited about returning to real estate, welcoming the opportunity to join our dynamic team. She is basing herself in our Kaikohe office. I understand what it requires to achieve the best outcome when purchasing, selling, tenanting or renting property. During the course of my chosen career in Property Management and sales I have acquired many skills that contribute to achieving the best outcome for my clients and customers. Flip Boerrigter

Flip was born in Alkmaar, Netherlands. His early career was in tourism and financial services where being multilingual was invaluable. Flip speaks German, Spanish and French, in addition to Dutch and English. While visiting good friends in New Zealand in 1994, Flip was overwhelmed by the beauty, hospitality and many more aspects of Kiwi Culture. In 2004 Flip and his family immigrated to New Zealand and fell in love with the Bay of Islands. Flip began his career in real estate in Northland in 2006. In 2008 he started in Property Management and built up a large portfolio of customers. Early 2012 Flip joined Harcourts; Kerikeri’s largest specialist Property management Team. Renting and managing property is often a stressful time. Hayden Clarke

Hayden has come into Business and Commercial Real Estate from a career in Mechanical and Marine Engineering. He exclusively specialises in business and commercial property sales and his strengths are strong analytical skills, efficient organisation, dedication to provide quality service and a friendly persona. Hayden originally grew up in Paihia and Kerikeri giving him good knowledge of the local market. After gaining a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Auckland, Hayden worked as an Officer in the RNZN before travelling overseas for 5 years to take up several engineering positions. Hayden has now returned to set up his home and business in Kerikeri with his wife and twin girls.

Holger Werner

Holger is Harcourts Kerikeri’s German import. He was born in Berlin 57 years ago and migrated to New Zealand in 2004 for the “better weather” and the lifestyle along with the new experience of living on the other side of the world. After 8 years Holger is delighted he made the right decision and found the perfect spot here in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Holger is a certified merchant and worked in a mortgage and insurance company and as a Real Estate General Agent in a building society in Germany for 7 years. He completed his first New Zealand Real Estate Salesperson’s certificate in March 2006 and had it just renewed. Now Holger is part of our “European Connection” and is marketing selected properties abroad as well as bringing another language to the Harcourts talented linguistic team, which now offers clients the choice of Dutch, German, Spanish and French language. “It is a bit of a passion of mine to help and care about my customers’ living, housing and financial needs. I believe this is a perfect background to work as a real estate salesperson in New Zealand.” When Holger is not working he likes to fish and sail and enjoy the outdoor living in the Bay of Islands.

Keryn Hislop

Keryn Hislop has recently completed her salesperson certificate and is now a member of our residential sales team. She joined our company as part of the dynamic property management team back in January 2011. Previously she had served our country, as a Corporal in the RNZAF and in the NZ Police, both here and on overseas operations. Keryn and her family moved to the Bay of Islands in 2003, where she owned a retail business in Kerikeri. Her family is involved in the local community, particularly with the Kerikeri Football Club where her husband coaches 3 teams and the family plays football. Keryn brings many strengths to our team; a strong team focus, goal orientated and great communication skills.

Raewyn Paterson

Rex Elliott AREINZ

Rex has lived in Kerikeri for 30 years. His children were all educated in Kerikeri and he has been closely involved with the Kerikeri Cruising Club during that time. Rex and his wife Erica have been married for 44 years, have four children and four grandchildren. He established the Kerikeri Yamaha School of Music that is now owned and operated by the original music teacher he employed in 1983. Rex then went on to established his own Life Insurance Brokerage qualifying as a mortgage broker in 1998 under the AXA agency. An opportunity to sell real estate arose in 2000 and he started work with REAL Property Centre in December of that year. To be sure he offered the best service possible Rex studied to become an Associate of the REINZ and qualified in 2004 winning the Fletcher Challenge Award for the “Best Academic Student” that year. He went on to become the licensee of REAL Property Centre Ltd 2005 and remained in that position for five years before seeking new horizons. Robi Quilter

Problem solving and helping people is what drives Robi in her career as a property consultant for Harcourts in Kerikeri. Robi’s genuine interest in people, enthusiasm for getting the job done and knowledge of the area goes a long way towards ensuring you will have a very enjoyable real estate experience. Robi Quilter returned to the area 9 years ago after 20 years of living in Auckland and overseas with her husband Mike, and children, Sam and Jess. They visited many countries throughout the world in their involvement with America’s Cups and Round the World Yacht Races. Robi and her parents moved to Kerikeri from Christchurch over 35 years ago and it was primarily because of them that she made the move to return and settle in Kerikeri along with other family members. Mike and Robi were married 25 years ago at the Kerikeri Cruising Club and these days can still be sound in the club area either yacht racing or cruising on their launch ‘Tapui’.

Ron Melville AREINZ

Ron has worked in real estate since 2000 after graduating as an adult student from Massey University in 2001 with a Diploma in Business Studies, Property Management. As well as being an active farmer in the Kaikohe area, Ron graduated to REINZ level in real estate in 2008 and specialises in the rural sector. Our family is grown up so we are now active grandparents to our five grandchildren and enjoy visiting them. “If you eat you are involved in agriculture!”

Trevor moved to Kerikeri 14 years ago and has seen the village grow meeting many local people and making friends. Trevor enjoys the activities Northland has to offer especially the Bay of Islands and spends his free time boating, fishing and a bit of hunting. Trevor got involved in real estate 4 years ago and joined Harcourts at the beginning of 2012. He believes in the Harcourts systems and the importance of consultative real estate with the continuing updating of ideas to cater for changing market conditions and technology. This complements supports his philosophy of ADAPT, ADOPT and IMPROVE.

Chris Barchet

Louise Garland

Tracy Barker

Tracy is a dynamic property manager with Harcourts in Kerikeri. She attended North Tec in Kerikeri where she gained a Business Studies Certificate (Level 4), in management, ethical practices, marketing and accounting. Tracy was an administrator / receptionist at a real estate company in Kaikohe involved in general receptionist duties and client services, before transferring to their Kerikeri branch. During her time in real estate administration and property management she has developed strong interpersonal relationship skills essential in property management. Tracy is now a full time Property Manager, one of a dynamic team of three and prides herself in her ability to care for tenants and ensure her landlord’s investments are protected. At present Tracy is focused on gaining her sales certificate by October this year and providing her valued clients and customers with customer service which is second to none. Tracy is extremely focussed on offering the best possible service to landlords and tenants alike, forming everlasting relationships. Tracy is involved in the Kerikeri community and is on the Board of Trustees of Kerikeri Primary School. She is well-organised and always willing to go the extra mile for both customers and colleagues alike. Tracy really enjoys working in a team environment.

In November 2011, I very happily joined the Professionals Bay of Islands Realty Administration & Marketing department. A few months later the company rebranded to the fun & focused Harcourts team. Having grown up in a Real Estate family it was inevitable that later in life I'd venture into the real estate agent field. This has given me the knowledge & experience to confidently work in an industry that I enjoy. Each day I get to welcome & liaise with a wonderful array of people and support a terrific expanding team of colleagues that keep me & my “right hand receptionist” Trish, very busy!

Rene Miles

Prior to moving to Kerikeri, Rene worked in Auckland selling real estate and continued within the industry where she’s been for the last six years. She has an extensive accounts / admin background which have held her in good stead in her current position as the Accounts Administrator for Harcourts Kerikeri. Rene enjoys supporting the frontline salespeople and working closely with those behind the scene to ensure contracts are managed through smoothly with settlement and possession occurring efficiently and on time.

Trish has recently joined the Harcourts Kerikeri team as a marketing administrator. Having an extensive background in the real estate and hospitality industries, Trish loves being in the front of house meeting and greeting people. Trish has a strong family connection to real estate – her whole family has had a career in the industry – three members also having worked for Harcourts. Trish completed her real estate salesperson certificate in 1995 and followed in 2004 with her AREINZ qualification from Massey University.
