Born in Sydney Australia ,and educated at Queen Margaret College in Wellington. After nursing at Wellington Hospital, Lindy travelled extensively overseas before returning to Wellington where she entered real estate in 1987 and worked as a very successful agent. After the birth of her son Nicholas in 1990, Lindy took leave for several years, returning part time in 1996. Widowed in 2005, Lindy returned to real estate full time and works from the central city office servicing particularly the Southern and Eastern suburbs.
