Bruce grew up in south Epsom, part of a large family, known as “the Manning Mob”, all of whom attended Royal Oak Primary School.

After attending Auckland Grammar, Bruce embarked on a varied and adventurous career, including occupations from lift operator at Mt.Ruapehu to working on American tuna boats. Interspersed with these adventures Bruce managed to complete a Bachelor of Science at Otago University and, Master of Science in Marine Biology at Auckland University.

Bruce has been with the Harcourts team now for 20 years, a large part of which as part of the very successful Harcourts M.G.R.E Royal Oak franchise, which did comprise of both the Royal Oak and Mangere Bridge offices. He has sold over $60 million worth of property in the area, and is known for combining effective selling performance with gentle and caring treatment of his clients. Bruce has a deep understanding of his duties regardless of the consequences to himself, as true agency performance requires.
