Growing up in a family of 7 children in the South Auckland suburb of Otahuhu it was either sink or swim. I chose to swim which meant that to succeed I had to work twice as hard as the average joe blogg.

I attended Otahuhu Primary, Intermediate, & College and being an average student I had to work extremely hard to achieve the highest qualifications to guide me through my career paths.

My first job was with the Inland Revenue which gave me the grounding I needed to ensure I would be successful. I worked hard and at the age of 21 I sought a career in the Real Estate Industry which became my passion. I put everything into this career path because I knew it would be my life-long vocation in life.

In 2004, along with my business partner, Kerry Thorstensen, we purchased the Harcourts Branch in Papatoetoe which has had many achievements and successes.

Dean has been selling real estate in the Papatoetoe/Mangere/Otahuhu/Otara/Manukau areas for the last 23 years
