Nigel was born in Christchurch and educated at St Andrews College. Prior to entering the real estate industry in 1984, he was an auctioneer and senior stock agent for Pyne Gould Guinness, Canterbury. This was followed by 3 years working in rural sales for Pyne Gould Guinness in North Canterbury.
He joined Harcourts in 1988 as auction manager followed by a management role in a Harcourts franchise in North Canterbury with offices at Hanmer Springs, Rangiora and Kaiapoi.
In 1997 Nigel went into partnership with Geoffrey Twiss and formed Twiss-Keir Realty Ltd, opening two more offices at Belfast and Shirley, giving the company the ability to service our client’s in both town and country.
