Get to know me better
Born and bred in London, Vanessa attained a degree from London University before starting her career in IT recruitment and head hunting. Vanessa moved to New Zealand in 1999 with now husband Carl Johnston.
On arrival in Queenstown she worked in radio, television and print advertising in the fields of sales and copywriting then followed her dream and started an equestrian centre on their rural property in Gibbston Valley.
Since the arrival of daughter Zoe, Vanessa finally realized she didn’t bounce as well as she once did and retired from the breaking in and training of young horses.
The addition of Zoe to the family has definitely helped hone her already great skills in negotiation and deal making.
Her straight talking and punctuality are attributes she lives by.
