Dean Armitage was raised in Papakura attending school at Papakura Central School, Rosehill Intermediate and then Rosehill College. From college he went on to study music entering the workforce part time to fund the tuition fees. In 2001 he began working full time in the banking industry as a teller and was gradually introduced to sales in his next two roles as a Customer Support Officer and then Business Marketing Consultant. In 2005 Dean joined the Real Estate industry, starting out working properties in the Mahia Park/Wattle Downs area where he helped achieve the majority share of listings and sales in the area. Now he is working in the upmarket subdivision of Karaka Harbourside Estate and has been involved in over 150 section sales as well as listing and selling houses in and around the Karaka and Papakura area. When asked what he likes the most about the Real Estate Industry, Dean says: “I love interacting with people in both business and social situations. Buying a house is such a personal thing and knowing that you’ve helped someone with one of the biggest decisions of their lives is such a great feeling!” Dean also has a great passion for music having been in covers and originals bands for over 10 years.
